Sweet "Dixie Lu" Can't Wait to Meet You!
"Dixie Lu" is miniature donkey, born in 2016. She was born at a local farm in Orange County and was purchased by the Bryceland Family when she was 6 mos old. She was family raised along with the other petting zoo animals that now live at Victory Hill. She is a wonderful protector of her petting zoo "herd" and loves to play with our sheep "Clover" and goats, "Finnegan" and "Piper".
"Dixie" is a wonderful therapy donkey and ambassador for Victory Hill's programs. She travels to off-site locations to help educate children and adults on the benefits of Equine Assisted Services. Here on the farm, she is a favorite among children and adults and has a unique way of bringing a smile to everyone's face. Her adorable antics are a great way to break the ice with resistant teens or anxious children and adults.
